It has been observed that there are many false ‘Password reset requests’ which were not sent by the actual students. To restrict such cases, Microsoft Team Administrator of AIUB is coming up with 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) process.

From now, Students/ Teachers/ Officials will be required to submit their current active mobile number and backup email address after they login to Microsoft Teams (Microsoft outlook 365) using their username and password. The mobile number and backup email address will be verified with OTP (onetime password). These verified mobile number and backup email address will be used for all future verification process/ requests of password reset of Microsoft Teams (Microsoft outlook 365).
